Fish diseases are gruelling to pick out accurately, and treating them potently and promptly is almost always dependent on without error and early diagnosis. Exact diagnosis, in almost all cases requires tissue sampling and/or biopsy or necropsy, and these issues take us back to seeing a qualified veterinarian or fish pathologist. Fish diseases are categorized as infectious and non-infectious diseases. The infectious diseases have the greatest impact. Fish diseases are controlled by using approved chemicals applied either in the feed or water.

Bacteria, virus and fungus are other micro organisms that can cause harsh top conditions are not carefully maintained, or an infected fish is brought into the colony, an infectious microorganism can be introduced that will devastate a population of fish. Bacteria can set in if it is acute, but just not being quite as prompt as the others come feeding time could lead to starvation. Bacteria can enter the fish’s body through the gills or skin or it can stay on the surface of the fish’s body. If your fish has Ich in fish, you need to treat it without delay before it is too late.
