Puppies are placed with Puppy Raising families at seven to eight weeks of age. They remain there until they are round about twelve months old. Puppies are always Veterinarian checked before they leave us, and are started on heartworm preventative. Puppies are born with closed eyes, so they can not see and they also can not produce any body heat themselves the first 10 - 14 days. While their eyes are closed we make sure to talk a lot, touch them and hold them close when we sort out them, so they stay gratifying and feeling.

Puppies are born with abilities that barely extend beyond suckling and sleeping. During the first few weeks, they pile on one another in an experiment to conserve body heat and paddle over to the nearest teat for nourishment. Puppies are very innocent to intestinal parasites. Some intestinal parasites like hookworms are so terrible that they may kill a puppy and may be transmitted to humans. Puppies are predominately removed at seven weeks of age. They are then sold to brokers who pack them in crates for transport and sale to pet shops. Keeping track of your puppy’s weight is very important, with puppy weight estimates, you can feed your puppies with fit diet and keep them vigorous and stalwart.
