Proper oral care helps deal with swollen gums
Gum infection or gum disease is caused primarily by plaque. Plaques formed from harmful bacteria that come from left food particles in the mouth. This is the result when we fail to clean our teeth daily and in a regular basis. It is very essential in the part of dental health the good oral care because it prevents the attack of bacteria and damaged the teeth and gums. Gum infection should not be taken for granted because if this infection allowed to progress, gums become irritated resulting to swollen gums and inflammation. This can develop to advanced periodontal disease in which pain, discomfort and destruction of gums and teeth will eventually occur. With good oral care through brushing, flossing and mouth rinse it prevents build up of bacteria and plaque formation.
