I had to learn this the hard way. I spent a few years struggling in obscurity before I figured out what that I needed schooling if I wanted to become a fashion designer. I would make a little bit of money selling clothing at art and craft fairs, and there was one local store that would carry my designs. Nonetheless, it was a lot of work for not a lot of money. I always had a second job, and couldn’t really regularly depend on designing fashion for my income.  I’m stubborn, but even I had had enough after a few years of this. I decided that I would go to a school of fashion design.
