Although baby products are no more costly or difficult to make than any other type of consumer item, they cost a lot of money for the simple reason that new parents will pay for them. Parents understandably want the best for their babies, but this can often translate into a substantial and unnecessary markup which rarely leads to quality improvement. Labels like “all natural” and “organic” are often applied to things that don’t really warrant such labels just so the company can make a little bit more money off of credulous parents. In reality, you can get safe, high quality discount baby items if you know where to look.
