Inhibit Dog Biting.
All responsible dog owners should have their dogs trained in the concept of ‘bite inhibition’.
To most dogs, there is never the intention to ‘Bite’ as biting goes. The problem is the dog has never been taught that it cannot use any force in its jaws when it is ‘mouthing’ the body parts, clothes or belongings of a human being.
Most dogs get taught this valuable trait by their mothers and their siblings or members of their social pack.
We humans create the problem by removing the puppy from this environment before it has learned the art of bite inhibition.
It is therefore up to the new dog owner to teach his pet bite inhibition.
