Working as a caddie on the PGA Tour you get a lot of questions about your job, but the question caddies are asked the most is,” how do you get a job as a caddie on tour”? If you ask a tour caddy this question you are most likely to get some short vague answer that is little or no help to you. The main reason for these vague answers is mainly because the caddie doesn’t have the time to fully explain the job process. To give a complete explanation would take a good 20 to 30 minutes and more than likely they would still forget some important points.
Realizing there were golfers wanting this information and not being able to find it some tour caddies decided to write an e-book explaining the complete process. The e-book explains exactly what to say, where to go, and how to do it.
The job of a tour caddie is not for everybody but for those that may be interested they need to jump on the bandwagon quickly. One of the best opportunities to secure golf employment as a tour caddie is coming up in the next two months and they need to be ready. Find out what you need to do to be a caddy on tour. You can also find out more about golf careers and training.

Golf swing teaching aids are useful in helping new golfers master their golf swing. But before spending the money on golf swing teaching aids, it is important to learn your strengths and weakness before buying golf aids.
There are plenty of golf swing teaching aids on the market these days. One of these is the speed radar. It basically uses a Doppler radar to measure the speed of your golf ball. These devices sits on the ground directly in front of you and is used in many golf schools.
Doppler radars can determine your golf ball speed quite reliably and is very consistent. Another type of golf swing teaching aid are impact labels. These stick on your golf club and when your club hits the ball, it leaves a mark telling you the contact points made. This allows you to know whether you are hitting the golf ball center or off center.

There can’t be anything more advantageous for the dedicated golfer than to take a golf trip someplace other than your home course. A golf trip is a fantastic course of action to get out of the norm, see the country, bond with friends, and play golf courses that are more shocking than you ever thought possible. Of course, if you live within driving distance of some of the better courses, you may not think a golf trip isn’t necessary, but you couldn’t be more wrong. When you are planning a golf trip, it’s always most advantageous to take along a few friends for the ruling fun golfing vacation. Be sure to record your golf masters score too. Your wife (or husband) might not be joyful about it, but you’ll have a eternal time together.
A perfect place to plan a golf trip to is Alabama. Robert Trent Jones was a golf architect who designed over 500 golf courses and is known as one of the foremost golf course designers in the world. In Alabama, they recommend the Robert Trent Jones golf trail which consists of 11 different golf courses throughout the state that offer up some of the unexcelled golf in the country. When you travel to play golf on the RTJ golf trail, you will find challenging and fun courses that will provide for hours of enjoyment and camaraderie. This man was a genius when it came to designing golf courses, so be prepared to be astounded and perhaps a little frustrated.

Choosing a good golf club for a beginner is an important part of the game. There are a lot of things to consider when buying golf clubs. If you are a beginner and if you do not want to buy a whole golf set, buy adjustable golf clubs as these can be changed into various types. The 14 clubs may be changed into 5 or 6. This will help carry less and also help you tweak your clubs to make them perfect after buying them. This is one of the best ways to get to know the specific statistics of each club. Then once you are certain, you may buy golf clubs that are set permanently. Until you buy permanent ones you should be fine with adjustable clubs, as you are a beginner.

Here’s a good tip to lower golf handicap
Many golfers throw away a lot of shots during their rounds because they do not do a very good job of managing their game on the course. They will take very risky shots or pick the wrong clubs for a particular shot.
It is far better to be a little conservative and not go for the big shot especially if you are a high handicap player. You need to look at the hazards around the course and you also need to take a look at your game and hit the shots that give you the greatest chance of shooting a low score on that hole.
Sometimes laying up short even on a par 4 hole may be the best idea because you can then rely on good chipping and putting to put the ball in the hole. This is why working on short shots during practice is important because it gives you the ability to be a little conservative and not always go for the pin.

Borrow them from your friends, rent them out from golf club rental stores, and take the clubs down to the driving range. Many golf beginners drop their hut and surrender because they experience frustrations in the execution of their swing. This should not happen because super golf swing is doable for every one even for kids and seniors. The most common mistake of beginning golfers is that they try to give as much strength they can muster in the execution of their swing. This is not necessary because fluidity in motion and direction driven swing is what is necessary. Of course, as anything physics, understanding the concept is easy but execution is always the issues. If you have noticed, I said physics. This is because golf swing is all physics. You will need to follow certain anglings and mind your movement to create fluidity of motion and giving direction to your ball. I hope I can help you improve your golf swing by giving you some of the useful tips on how to execute the proper golf swing.

Ever wonder why the golf pro looks so good when he swings at the ball? There seems to be a deliberate, unrushed quality to his swing. We sense it when we see him hit the ball only once, and it becomes more and more plain the more often we see him swing. He has established a definite rhythm and he sticks to it. In fact, one of the things he does when he goes to the practice tee before a round is reestablish his rhythm, so that he hits a 6 iron, for instance, at exactly the same speed, with exactly the same effort, with exactly the same Timing and Rhythm in the Golf Swing , whether the shot is easy or hard.

With the popularity of the game of golf, numerous adaptations have sprouted up loosely based on the centuries-old game of hitting a ball with a stick. There are golf games for every age group and for those with different skill levels and some, such as disk golf that uses a flying disk thrown by hand instead of being hit with a club.
One of the more popular golf games is miniature golf, which is simply an 18-hole layout on which only a putter is used to hit the ball into a hole. Many of these miniature golf courses are set in a circus-type atmosphere of figurines, buildings and seemingly impossible routes and obstacles between the starting area and the hole.

Fitness means a healthy body that can handle a fair amount of everyday stress, breathing easily and recovering normally in a short amount of time. Naturally, every sport requires some effort and certain muscles are generally called on while others are specifically called on. Hence, it makes sense to participate in pre-golf day exercises that enhance performance in a natural, fit way – that’s fitness training for golf.

Golf etiquette refers to a set of rules and practices designed to make the game of golf safer and more enjoyable for golfers and to minimize possible damage to golf equipment and courses. Although many of these practices are not part of the formal rules of golf, golfers are customarily expected to observe them.
Divots are part of the game, and should always be repaired to keep the game enjoyable for all those playing the course. A golfer should replace the loose grass and gently step on it to set it in place. Some courses may have buckets of sand or seed used for repairing divots. Regardless, golfers should fix any damage inflicted on the course…

Most golfers want to improve their game and most want to practice for this improvement. Golfers involved in a game of eighteen holes get some practice, but this practice is not constant or focused on a particular skill. The play with a group of four on a course does not give a golfer the chance to take time to review what is going right or wrong. The golfer involved in a game does not have the chance to stop and think about the best course of action for improving skills. The golf driving range provides a chance for the practice that cannot be obtained on the golf course. The golfer can go to a golf driving range and practice golf skills for hours at a time if desired.
